A man singing “Jopay” by Mayonnaise goes viral online and earned various reactions from social media users.
Throughout the centuries, singing has become popular in Filipino culture and tradition. Any reunion, trip, birthday party, or holiday gathering usually includes a videoke session. If the performer can enjoy the mood and indulge in the song, it doesn’t matter if they aren’t quite as good as international singers.
However, it seems that not all Filipinos have a talent for singing. Why then are some people so good? Given that most families own karaoke machines at home, this is probably the reason why some Filipinos were able to enhance their singing voices.
The Facebook page “Klasik” has shared video footage of a man singing the popular hit song “Jopay” by Mayonnaise. The video clip garnered mixed reactions from netizens.
In the video, the guy has made a rendition of the popular hit song, which is considered one of the iconic songs in any videoke session. However, it can be noticed that he is out of tune.
The performer did not mind his voice and timing since he is enjoying the song. After a few moments, his female colleague smashed him with a songbook due to his performance.
The crazy guy’s rendition earns around 3.1 million views and thousands of reactions from internet users as of this writing.
