Maine Mendoza on Vlogger Calling Her “Suplada”: “Bastos, makapal ang mukha”

Maine Mendoza Slams Vlogger in Singapore for Calling Her Suplada

Actress Maine Mendoza vents frustration and slammed an alleged vlogger in Singapore for calling her suplada.

Maine Mendoza did not back down from a netizen who accused her of being rude to her fans during her vacation to Singapore. Joyce Chaneco Villamar, a purported YouTuber, shared a photo of herself with Eat Bulaga presenter.

She met Maine at a mall in Singapore, according to her post. Villamar, on the other hand, was disappointed and claimed that Mendoza was unapproachable. She even called her ‘suplada’ despite the actress granted her request for a photo.

“Suplada pala sa personal itong si Maine Mendoza na to. So disappointed with you,” said Villamar on her Facebook post.

Fans of Maine, on the other hand, instantly defended their star from Villamar, asking the content creator why she had a photo with the actress if she neglected her. The actress promptly responded to Villamar’s accusations.

Maine wishes she had truly had a terrible attitude toward the netizen who was working as a sales assistant. She admitted that the content author and her companions were impolite and disrespectful.

“If I came off as “supladita” (as ate sales associate in Bath and Body Works Ngee Ann Mall have said to every Filipino inside the store, even to my friend) e dasurv nga naman, sana tinarayan ko na nga talaga. Bastos si SA and that group of girls. Bastos at makakapal ang mukha,” Maine said in her reply to a tweet.

Maine expresses her dismay with Villamar and her friends’ contempt and entitlement. She even stated that her visit to the said store and interactions with Filipinos abroad were her worst experiences.

“Oh if you only know how disrespectful and entitled those ladies were, especially the sales associate, ay maloloka ka nalang talaga. By far the worst experience/interaction with kababayans abroad. Bastos” she said.

As of this writing, Villamar had not responded to Maine’s message. Her contentious post about Maine was removed, and her account was made private.

    • April 2018 I met Maine in San Pedro, near Alabang, as they were shooting a segment of her show. She was so friendly and great to talk to as she was taking a short break and also invited me take a photo with her…I was a member of the Kabayan Anti Crime Unit providing security on that day..

  2. Subject for termination na si ate sales assistant since Maine dropped the name of the store and considered customer complain na yun. Singapore is very particular sa mga customer feedbacks. Swerte na nga si ate sales, Maine allowed to take picture of her. Be considerate na nagbabakasyon si Maine. Hindi nman 24hrs required nakasmile siya at very accomodating. Whereas si ate sales assistant eh dapat maging polite since she is asking favor na magpapicture.

  3. Yaya Dubs (Maine) has the right to say her statements in response to what the other lady posted on social media. Ikaw ba naman nakiusap na magpa picture then if you see something na hindi mo nagusutuhan, maninira ka. Dapat from there, nag TY ka kay Maine at end of story. Now, magpopost ka ng maayos na picture nyo tapos you will say bad things about Yaya Dubs, may conflict don.
