Netizens bashed Pinay teen for calling Charles & Keith a luxury brand and the owners did this after the online commotion.
CHARLES & KEITH – Pinay teen Zoe Gabriel was invited by the owners of the Charles & Keith brand for a lunch following the bashing received.
The brand Charles & Keith is a famous brand but just recently, Pinay teen Zoe Gabriel was ridiculed online for calling this brand “luxury”. In a previous article, she shared a Tiktok of her having her first luxury bag from the said brand but she was mocked by many online because of this.
She is based in Singapore and it was her father who bought her an $80 dollar bag. Emotional and clearly offended by the critical comments, the Pinay teen shared a video of her where she ended up explaining herself.
“Your comment spoke volumes on how ignorant you seem because of your wealth. To you, an $80 bag may not be a luxury. For me and my family, it is a lot. And I’m so grateful that my dad was able to get me one. He worked so hard for that money, I can’t believe I got hate for a bag I was so excited to have,” she said.
According to her, coming from a simple family, the price is already a luxury. To some people who are obsessed with price tags, such gestures against the young girl’s simple happiness showed their ignorance.
And amid these commotions online, the young girl’s pain was taken away when the founders of the brand invited her for a lunch affair with her father. They also got an exclusive tour of the brand’s headquarters.
She shared some photos on her social media and happiness over the experience was evident on her face. She was also gifted “with products and vouchers” from C&K based on a post from The Straits Times.
The company’s spokesperson also gave a statement about Zoe’s issue. Accordingly, their hearts really went out to her. They were also left impressed by how she gracefully handled the rage of the netizens.
“Our founders believe that our products should spark joy, empower fashion lovers and give them confidence, something we believe she presented so eloquently in her video and for which we are so grateful,” the statement said.

Charles and Keith may not be as popular or as “luxury” as LV but it is bound in the same direction. believe me it will, sooner or later, get there! not as luxurious but a brand that everyone will be proud of having one or two!
