Rita Avila Gives Prayers for the President and Public Officials to Fix Themselves
Veteran actress Rita Avila offers prayers for the President and other public officials to give them strength to fix themselves.
In the midst of the government’s difficulties, the actress resorted to Instagram to send a message to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. She also included other government figures in her statement.
Rita published a photo on Instagram illustrating some of the government’s problems, including the prosecution against former Senator Leila de Lima. She also stressed the rising prices of goods on the market.
The actress also shared some of the internet’s criticism against President Marcos Jr. She hoped that one day the government will be able to fix itself.
“We pray for our President and government officials to have the strength to fix themselves and these issues; after all they are our leaders and, supposedly, protectors.” Rita said in her post.
Meanwhile, as of this writing, Rita’s post had received hundreds of likes and diverse replies from the internet community. Rita previously endorsed the campaign of former Vice President Leni Robredo in the 2016 presidential election.
