Pinay model and beauty queen Celeste Cortesi is one of the 84 delegates vying for the title of Miss Universe 2022. The much-awaited coronation night will take place on Jan. 14 (morning of January 15 in the Philippines).

Celeste’s breathtaking looks at the Miss Universe 2022 pre-pageant activities have caused quite a stir online. She has been posting updates about her journey on social media ever since she arrived in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Celeste Cortesi has been regularly updating her followers on their daily activities by publishing gorgeous snaps online, allowing internet users full access to the prestigious event.

The Fil-Italian beauty was included in Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza’s top 10. The majority of the contestants in her Top 10 likely win are Latinas. She said Celeste “has a lot of bearing. She fascinates me.” Andrea added that Celeste’s recent acquisition of a real estate license has inspired her to pursue her studies in real estate.

Thai transgender business mogul Anne Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip, who acquired full ownership of MUO in October last year, said she won’t permit beauty queens to do s*xy dances wearing only swimsuits. She said, “Stop using women as s*x symbols.“

Anne stated people should watch it with a “purpose,” and have “meaning” to it. She said in Thai, “My aim is to make this stage become just as splendid as the Academy Awards’ stages, or even the equivalent of the Olympics for beauty.”
