Cristy Fermin received tickets in the past for Toni Gonzaga Concert
Toni Gonzaga Concert – Veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin shared that she received tickets for Toni’s concert years ago and she thought they were free.
Toni is set to do her 20th-anniversary concert on January 20 at the Araneta Coliseum. The Ultimate Multimedia Star started promoting this event last year even before she became busy promoting her Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2022 movie My Teacher with Henyo Master Joey de Leon.
Following the reports that her MMFF did not do well in cinemas. Based on the most recent report, it only earned P12 million. With this, speculations surfaced that Toni Gonzaga concert will flop also.
Rumor has it that those concert tickets are not selling well. It was even alleged that Mommy Pinty Gonzaga, the mother of the actress-host bought 500 tickets. As of this writing, Mommy Pinty and the camp of Toni haven’t spoken yet about this issue.
This issue was one of the topics that Cristy talked about in a recent episode of her Showbiz Now Na YouTube show with Romel Chika and Wendell Alvarez.
Cristy shared that back in 2018, during one of their tapings for the showbiz-oriented show Juicy, Alex Gonzaga, who was one of the hosts, gave her tickets for Toni’s concert.
The showbiz writer thought that those tickets were free. “Nagpadala si Mommy Pinty ng ticket kay Alex. Binigay sa akin lima. Tapos ako naman natutuwa. Tapos sa isang taping namin, lumapit sa akin si Alex, ‘Nanay ‘yun daw pong bayad sa tickets sa concert ni ate,’” Cristy shared.
Then, the showbiz writer said that she paid for the tickets but they opted not to watch the concert. “Pinabayaran sa akin ni Mommy Pinty, totoo pinabayaran. Binayaran ko, pinamigay namin. Hindi rin namin pinanood,” she revealed.
Meanwhile, talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz also shared his thought about the Toni Gonzaga concert ticket issue.
