SUV Involved in Accident w/ 12 Vehicles in Mandaluyong Road

SUV – A Sport Utility Vehicle was involved in an accident in Mandaluyong City as it hit twelve (12) other vehicles on the road.

The road can be a risky place thus drivers are always reminded to drive safely and to really make sure that their vehicles are conditioned before leaving for travel. It is a must that a driver must have an active license to drive from the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and the vehicle should have been registered to the said government body.

Every day, there are several accidents happening on the road due to various reasons. Some are due to reckless driving while others were due to technical malfunctions of their vehicles while on the road.

Recently, in Mandaluyong City, an SUV hit 12 other vehicles on the road causing damages to the cars and injuries to some individuals. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Mandaluyong Police investigation said that the vehicle started hitting other cars on the road along San Miguel Avenue.

According to the driver of the Sport Utility Vehicle, Dominador Varga who is working as a family driver, he lost control of the steering wheel that’s why he hit other vehicles on the road. Aboard the passenger is the 19-year-old child of his employer.

Attorney Paul Roldan, the employer of the driver and the owner of the SUV that hit 12 other vehicles in Mandaluyong road, said that he has already talked to the victims and he has laid his intention to help and settle matters with them. He is the father of the student who was aboard his car when the accident happened.

At least 13 people sustained injuries from the incident and at least five (5) of them were brought to the hospital. According to the report, the lawyer revealed that two (2) of the victims are still in the hospital while the three (3) have already been discharged.

Atty. Roldan who is also standing as the legal counsel of his driver clarified that he has communication with the camp of two (2) victims who are still in the hospital. He put down the possibility that it was his 19-year-old child who was driving the car when the incident happened. Their family driver is facing a case due to reckless imprudence resulting in multiple physical injuries and damage to property.
