Is this the reason for the breakup between McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson?
Veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin mentioned in her YouTube show the alleged reason for the breakup between actor McCoy de Leon and actress Elisse Joson.
The bond between McCoy and Elisse started when they became Pinoy Big Brother housemates. From that, they were known together as the McLisse love team. Eventually, they announced that they became parents to their daughter Felize.
However, in their past interviews, the former couple said that they were not planning to tie the knot yet. Before 2022 ended, rumors surfaced that their relationship is on the rocks. Later on, McCoy de Leon confirmed that he and Elisse Joson are no longer together.

The actor denied that there was a third party. Both McCoy and Elisse did not reveal the reason for the breakup but speculation surfaced that the actress is allegedly a nagger.
In a recent episode of Showbiz Now Na, the YouTube talk show of Cristy Fermin with Romel Chika and Wendell Alvarez, they talked about the alleged reason why McLisse separated.
Wendell mentioned that Elisse’s mother does not like McCoy to be a son-in-law. Cristy said that in spite of that, the actor expresses gratitude to the mother of the actress for taking care of their daughter.
“Yun nga and tinuturong dahilan na mula’t mula pa, from day one pa lang, ayaw na ng mommy ni Elisse kay McCoy,” Cristy said. Romel also recalled Elisse’s post in the past saying “ipinaglaban kita tapos hindi rin pala matatapos ng maganda.”
Then, Cristy asked Romel what he thinks is the reason why Elisse’s mom does not like McCoy. Romel answered that he thinks it is because of their different financial status. The showbiz writer also shared that some sources revealed that the actor has already noticed the cold treatment from the family of the actress.
