Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are among the showbiz royalties
Celebrity couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, also known as the Kapuso Primetime King and Queen, have achieved a lot when it comes to their showbiz careers.
Over the years, Marian and Dingdong proved their star status in the Philippine entertainment industry. The results of their projects throughout the years can attest to the stardom they have right now.
Individually or as a couple, they are respected in the industry. With all the milestones in their careers, do their children know that they are big stars in showbiz? This was asked of Marian Rivera in a recent Updated with Nelson Canlas podcast, based on the article in GMA.
The actress said that somehow Zia already has an idea about this. She and Dingdong would bring their daughter to tapings and shoots. The couple had a conversation with Zia about this when she turned 7.
“Nag-usap kami ni Dong, sabi namin siguro it’s about time na malaman talaga ni Zia kung saan talaga nagmula,” Marian shared. If their daughter would ask something about their work, they thought that would be a cue for them to elaborate on the nature of their job.
“Na-build namin yung dream house namin, na-extend namin sa mga mahal namin sa buhay ‘yung happiness na meron kami, so very proud kami dito ni Dong. Kaya sabi siguro ni Dong it’s about time, yung ipunta natin sa GMA si Zia para sabihin nating ito ‘yung network namin, [ito ‘yung office namin],” the actress explained.
The celebrity couple also wants to do this to their son Sixto. They are just waiting for him to turn seven because they think that this will be the right age for him to understand what they are doing for a living.
Marian Rivera also shared that they would bring Zia to the set of Jose & Maria’s Bonggang Villa during tapings so the young girl would have an idea of how the life of a celebrity is. Through this, it would also be natural for Zia in front of the camera while doing commercials.
