NU Volleyball Star Jennifer Nierva Posts Cryptic Tweet After Yawi Cabrera’s Alleged Cheating
JENNIFER NIERVA – Volleyball player Jennifer Nierva posts cryptic tweet after alleged cheating of boyfriend, Esports player Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera.
Since 2022, Jennifer Nierva and Yawi Cabrera’s relationship has been widely known. Yawi is a professional Mobile Legends: Bang Bang player for the pro team ECHO while Jennifer was one of the key players in National University’s historic UAAP title in Season 84.
Their social media profiles were flooded with posts featuring one another. However, a cheating incident that purportedly involved Yawi has just gone viral on Facebook. Since then, Jennifer has removed the social media posts she shared with Yawi.
On New Year’s Day, Esports player Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera became a hot topic on social media after allegations of cheating on his girlfriend, National University Lady Bulldogs libero Jennifer Nierva. A certain Peter Bryce released screenshots of his text conversations with a certain lady on Facebook.
In one of the screenshots, the Esports player said he wanted to go to Caro’s house and asked for her address. He also tried to call her but she did not answer.
A Twitter user @_caiffeinated further stated that Yawi had allegedly cheated on Andrea Angeles, his previous girlfriend, as well. Jennifer got the sympathy of netizens, while Yawi got tongue lashings on social media.

A day after the incident, Yawi Cabrera posted a status on FB that reads: “GGWP (Good game, well played)! Lakas niyo boys! ‘Di kayo ekiz sa akin.”
Following this post, the volleyball player tweeted: “The audacity! Nagawa mo pang mag joke ah.”
In an earlier tweet, Jennifer also asked for a playlist for 2023. Youtuber Mika Salamanca suggested Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable” be included in the list.
The libero agreed and said: “Ayy parang eto pinakamagandang kanta! I love you (Mika).”
On Monday, Jennifer Nierva shared on Twitter that she will now “let go.”

On New Year’s Eve, the 23-year-old libero also made herself heard via IG, wishing her followers a happy 2023, but also including a somewhat cryptic message that says, “Self-love tayo dis 2023 ha?”
