SUNSHINE CRUZ – Drama actress Sunshine Cruz shares some photos during an event hosted by Cesar Montano and his partner.
In a previous article, Sunshine Cruz expressed feelings for people who appreciated the new set-up of her blended family with her former husband Cesar Montano. She is also now close with Cesar’s new partner Kath Angeles and she appreciates her for being a “wonderful Tita” to her daughters.
“We are family after all. Sabi ko nga ‘in God’s perfect time’. I prayed and I believed that this will eventually happen and it was given to me and my family,” she said referring to the great bond she built with them.
It takes real maturity, acceptance, and forgiveness for someone to be this open and welcoming to the person with whom she shared quite a bad past.
And just recently, she and her daughters along with Diego Loyzaga celebrated the first days of the new year with Cesar and his new family. Cesar and Kath hosted a dinner for everyone and in an Instagram post, Sunshine thanked them.
She feels nothing but gratitude as she looks back to the year that has ended.
Sharing some snaps during the dinner, Sunshine wrote in the caption: “The girls and I had a wonderful time chatting and catching up with all of you. We’ve missed bohol and masaya kami na nakasama namin kayo dito sa New Year celebration.”

Sunshine expressed on social media how great she felt now that they are co-parenting. She also has good words for Cesar’s partner for loving and taking care of her girls. And although not everyone will understand their setup, for her, this is the setup that works for them because it made their girls happy. Cesar is accordingly blessed to have someone like Kath in his life.
For 2023, she will put her focus on positive things.
