Christine Bersola-Babao Shared Struggle For Life After She Ate A Pancake
CHRISTINE BERSOLA-BABAO – TV5 news anchor Christine Bersola-Babao revealed she was rushed to hospital after suffering a life-threatening allergic reaction.
Christine Peji Bersola-Babao a.k.a. Tin Tin is a multi-media personality from the Philippines. She is most known for her role in the educational television series Sine’skwela.
Just recently, the journalist shared her struggle for life after she ate a pancake. In her social media post, Tintin shared the result of her eating pancakes from another country.
According to her, she has an allergy to the wheat ingredient in the said pancake. She said, “Nag-crave ako for pancakes so nagpaluto ako ng wheat pancakes using ready mix galing sa Amerika. Yun ang aking breakfast.”
“Pagtingin ko sa mirror mayroon na akong isang pantal. I knew I was having an allergy attack,” she added.

Christine Babao said she thought that she would not be able to survive her allergy because since losing her voice, the airway in her nose had closed. It got to the point where she could feel her airway closing in her mouth, so she rushed to the hospital.
The journalist just prayed because she might not make it to the hospital. “Sabi ko, ‘Kung mamamatay ako Lord either matanda na ako o di kaya sa isang malubhang sakit o anuman… huwag ‘yung kumain ako ng pancakes na allergic ako, wala akong kalaban-laban,” Tin said.
Fortunately, they reached the hospital and injected her with epinephrine, so her condition stopped worsening. Right now Christine is doing well, but she has a neck brace because when she was hospitalized doctors discovered she had some illnesses.

Same predicament from America Pancake mix po. Valentine’s Day. 4 of us can not breathe. One rushed to the hospital. We checked the syrup but we did not realized until now it must be the wheat ingredient of the pancake. Thank you, you are safe. My brother and all of us are asthmatic. Good the children just baked it and shaped as a heart was so excited to give it as a gift to us Lolo and Lolas. We threw the box without checking.
