Heaven Peralejo received positive feedback for her character in her MMFF 2022 movie
Kapamilya actress Heaven Peralejo is thankful for her Best Actress nomination in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2022.
Heaven has been receiving good reviews for her portrayal of Me-Anne in the movie Nanahimik ang Gabi. This movie project gave her the chance to work with seasoned actors Ian Veneracion who won the Best Actor award, and Mon Confiado who was hailed as the Best Supporting Actor.
Heaven was nominated for the Best Actress award and even though she did not win, the mere nomination made her so happy. In her Instagram post after the Gabi ng Parangal on December 27, the actress expressed how overwhelmed she is by this kind of opportunity in her acting career.
“GRATEFUL is an understatement. Lord, You’ve been so great to me. To be even nominated as Best Actress in this year’s MMFF is already a big win for me especially as this is my first leading role in this kind of genre. My heart is so full,” Heaven Peralejo wrote in the caption of her post showcasing the photos during the awards night.
The actress also said that she is proud of her two leading men in the movie. She reiterated that she is honored to work with Ian and Mon. Heaven also thanked Star Magic head Direk Lauren Dyogi who is her “tatay” in showbiz, as well as those who helped her from the Kapamilya talent management company. The actress also mentioned her thank you for Rein Entertainment.
“Isa pong karangalan ito. Maraming maraming salamat po sa mga sumuporta at patuloy na sumusuporta. Nawa’y patuloy nating tangkilikin ang pelikulang Pilipino,” she added.
In the comment section of her post, Direk Lauren wrote a comment. The Star Magic head congratulated Heaven Peralejo for being nominated. He said that this is a validation of the actress’s talent and dedication to her craft. “Your Starmagic family is very proud of you! Congrats to the entire cast and the Rein team,” Direk Lauren wrote.
