Bea Alonzo answered the speculations about her reunion movie with John Lloyd Cruz
Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo refuted the claim of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz that A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz said that their reunion movie is “fake news.”
To recall, in an interview, Bea said that one of her upcoming projects after her first Kapuso series Start-Up PH is her much-awaited reunion movie with JLC. She even shared that this will be under Star Cinema and will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina who also directed their Once More Chance and A Second Chance movies.
Ogie talked about this matter in his Showbiz Update vlog with Mama Loi and Dyosa Pockoh which was released on December 19. The vlog title was “JOHN LLOYD CRUZ – BEA ALONZO REUNION MOVIE, ETO PALA ANG TOTOO!”
The talent manager-vlogger said that his source talked to John Lloyd about this. It was said that the A-list actor was “naloka” when rumors reached him that he and Bea will do a movie together.
When Mama Loi asked why JLC had that reaction, Ogie said, “Dahil unang-una, as per John Lloyd, walang offer, walang lumalapit sa kanila para doon kung meron mang proposal ng Bea-John Lloyd movie,” Ogie said, adding that the actor does not want their fans to expect.
The talent manager-vlogger also said that John Lloyd did not know where Bea got her information about their reunion movie. He also said that quoting JLC from his source, the actor said that this is “fake news.”
In a recent interview on GMA’s State Of The Nation, Bea Alonzo answered this issue. She said that she immediately called John Lloyd Cruz when speculations surfaced that he said that their reunion movie is “fake news.”
“Dahil magkaibigan naman kami, tinawagan ko siya, he denied that he said that,” the actress said. Ogie Diaz is yet to release a statement about this issue.
