The hologram of late rapper Francis Magalona performing at the concert of OPM band Eraserheads amazed concertgoers.

The thousands of people who attended the Eraserheads performance on December 22, 2022, were taken aback when the so-called ‘Master Rapper,’ Francis Magalona, unexpectedly performed. Elmo and Arkin Magalona, the rapper’s sons, also performed, based on the video. The crowd was utterly taken aback because they had not anticipated the arrival of the iconic rapper on the stage.

It should be noted that Francis M is close to Eraserheads, particularly its leader Ely Buendia, and they have performed songs together on multiple occasions. The Eraserheads dedicated their 2009 reunion concert to the memory of Francis M, who died of leukemia the same year.

The Master Rapper was scheduled to play at the aforementioned performance, but it was canceled owing to his death. Before the concert, Francis M.’s wife, Pia Magalona, expressed her excitement to see her late husband live again, even if only in hologram form.
