Jake Cuenca was asked about his past relationship with Kylie Verzosa
Kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca explained his crying photo after he confirmed that he and actress Kylie Verzosa have broken up.
Through an emotional post, Jake confirmed the rumors about the status of his relationship with Kylie in April this year. Following that, he shared a photo of him showing that he was crying.
This garnered sympathy from many netizens who understood what he felt after the breakup however, this emotional photo of Jake also received mocking comments.
Months after the breakup, Jake admitted in a previous interview that it was not easy for him to move on. He said that it might take him a year and a half to finally move forward from his three-year relationship with Kylie.
In a recent on King of Talk Boy Abunda’s YouTube show The Interview Presents, Jake Cuenca was asked about his crying photo. Tito Boy said that he saw Jake’s post and he was in tears. “What was that?” the seasoned TV host asked.
The actor answered that was “pain” and “loss.” “I think that was the accumulation of a lot of things that happened to me in the pandemic,” he added.
Jake also shared that in a weird way, that was a reset for him. He told himself that this year will be the reintroduction of what he can do as an actor. The actor also acknowledges that pain has become his friend.
He also realized that he can’t hate life totally because there are negative things happening to him. Jake said that if bad things happen, he tries to find things that make him laugh. “We can’t just accept life when it’s good,” he stressed, adding that life is not always good.
Jake Cuenca said that he is training himself to see the beauty in every situation.
