Hoàng Thùy Linh is the singer behind the viral song Ting Ting Tang Ting
Vietnamese singer Hoàng Thùy Linh who released the song Ting Ting Tang Ting, which became a dance craze on TikTok, was involved in a past scandal.
Filipinos are amazed by the said song which is titled See Tinh. In the Philippines, even celebrities joined the dance craze as they shared videos of them dancing to this tune. Based on the article in PEP, former It’s Showtime host Eric “Eruption” Tai was one of the instruments that this song went viral in the country.
Eruption shared videos of him on TikTok dancing to this song. This fun-to-dance-with song is actually a “revenge song.” Other celebrities like Dingdong Dantes, Ogie Alcasid and his wife Regine Velasquez, and Anne Curtis joined the dance craze as well.

Thùy Linh was involved in a scandal in 2007. She was 19 years old back then when a video of her intimate moment with her boyfriend circulated online. Reportedly, the younger generation in Vietnam at that time supported her while parents demanded her to have her public apology, and so she did.
After issuing her public apology, Thùy Linh took a break from the entertainment industry. For three years, she stayed away from the spotlight but in 2010, she made a comeback. Through her talent, she was able to bounce back.
In 2018, Thùy Linh released an autobiography titled Vàng Anh & Phuong Hoàng. In this book, she shared the story of how she started her career in the entertainment industry and the scandal that happened years ago.
The Vietnamese singer released new songs in February this year, including See Tinh which is about a lovesick person, popularly known in the Philipines as the Ting Ting Tang Ting. After nine months, the said song became popular among Pinoys and is now one of the TikTok dance crazes.
