Gabby Eigenmann is thankful to be part of ‘Start-Up PH‘
Kapuso actor Gabby Eigenmann revealed that he is a “hidden fan” of the tandem of Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz.
The Bea -John Lloyd tandem is one of the most successful onscreen partnerships in the Philippine entertainment industry. Even their fellow celebrities have expressed that their tandem is admirable.
Previously, Bea’s co-star in the Kapuso series Start-Up PH Alden Richards revealed that he is a fan of the actress’s onscreen partnership with John Lloyd. Alden expressed that he is thankful to finally have the chance to work with Bea.
Aside from Alden, another Start-Up PH cast member also admires the Bea-John Lloyd tandem. Based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Gabby Eigenmann shared that he is a fan also of the popular tandem.
Gabby said that he has watched the original Start-Up because he is a K-drama fan. He thought that if this will have a Pinoy version, he hopes that he will be part of the project. Then, when it was announced that it will have a Philippine adaptation, Gabby wondered who will be included in the cast.
He was offered to choose a character he wants to portray. “Ang dami kong opportunities to choose… I opted to do the character of Arnold Diaz, which is the kontrabida, the stepfather of the characters of Bea and Yasmien,” the actor shared.
He joked that he said yes to the project because he is having a house construction and he needs more days of taping. Gabby said that he missed doing “kontrabida” roles. Then, he revealed that his co-star in the series is one of the factors that made him excited to do this project.
“Fan ako ni Bea and John Lloyd [Cruz], hidden fan ako. Na-imagine ko na sana maka-work ko rin si Bea…” Gabby Eigenmann revealed.
