Barbie Imperial summarized her 2022
Actress Barbie Imperial said that 2022 is not a bad year for her even though negative things happened in her life like her breakup with actor Diego Loyzaga.
When Barbie and Diego were still together, their sweet photos and words for each other would always give “kilig” to their supporters. However, this turned sour and bitter. Early this year, it was confirmed that they are no longer together.
Although there were rumors that they tried to reconcile and rekindle their love, as they were spotted together even after their breakup, this did not happen.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Newsko, Barbie Imperial still expressed optimism despite her breakup with Diego Loyzaga. “I don’t say na bad year siya though a lot has happened in 2022, grabe. First quarter pa lang ng 2022 laman na ako ng mga balita, pero I think 2022 ‘yung year na ang dami ko talagang natutunan,” the actress said.
She shared that the breakup changed her a lot. Before this, she was still immature but this changed and she knows herself more now. The actress also said that she is wiser now when it comes to decision-making.
“Mas love ko ‘yung sarili ko. Before I will always say na I love myself, ganito ganyan, pero hindi pala. Kulang pala ‘yung sasabihin mong mahal mo ‘yung sarili mo du’n sa ramdam mo talaga na mahal mo ‘yung sarili mo,” Barbie added.
She also said that one thing she learned is to not trust people so easily. When asked if she has experienced betrayal, Barbie said yes and for her, betrayal from a friend or close friend is much more painful than the betrayal done by a boyfriend.
The actress said that she is more careful now in trusting other people. “Ang hirap mag-trust ngayon grabe. Kahit closes friend mo parang tutuklawin ka na lang bigla. So mas naging maingat ako sa mga taong I surround myself with,” she said.
On the other hand, Barbie Imperial said that she understands this is part of life and so she has to move on. To recall, she had a conflict with Vivamax actress Debbie Garcia this year who was her friend before.
