Marcelito Pomoy, unfortunately, couldn’t attend Jovit Baldivino’s funeral
Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 Champion Marcelito Pomoy shared his unforgettable performance with the late PGT Season 1 Champion Jovit Baldivino.
Although Marcelito and Jovit did not join the same PGT batches, they were able to form a friendship between them. Days after it was reported that Jovit was rushed to the hospital, Marcelito shared a post confirming that his friend has passed away.
The PGT S2 champ shared a screenshot of the conversation he had with Jovit and his wife. Marcelito was able to have a 1-minute video call with his friend at that time but unfortunately, that was the last time he would ever do that with Jovit.
The late singer’s funeral is on December 14 and Marcelito Pomoy expressed sadness that he will not be able to witness this. In his Instagram post, he shared a video of him with Jovit Baldivino.
It was during their show together. While Marcelito was singing the song Buwan with revised Cebuano lyrics, it can be heard that Jovit was laughing so lively.
“Parekoy pasensya na kung hindi ako makakaabot sa libing mo… andito pa kami sa Davao palipad pa lang from event… pasensya na at nakapagsign ako ng contract bago pa nangyari ang lahat ng eto…” Marcelito wrote in the caption of his post.
The singer said that this is really a sad thing for him but he wants to remember the happy moment he had with Jovit.
“Isa to sa mga event natin na hinding hindi ko malilimutan… yong tawang tawa ka na buhay na buhay ka… sobrang saya lang… eto na lang ang aalalahanin ko… hanggang sa muli parekoy…” Marcelito Pomoy said.
At Jovit’s wake, several celebrities and his fellow singers showed their love. Many celebrities also shared their tribute post to the late singer.
