Anne Curtis shared the stage with Regine Velasquez
Actress Anne Curtis said that she really prepared for her showdown with Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez.
It is a known fact in the Philippine music industry that Regine is a biritera and it is an honor for many younger artists to share the stage with her. Anne, on the other hand, is very attached to her singing prowess. She loves to sing and every time she does this, it is on the “performance level.”
These two Kapamilya stars had a recent powerful performance when they sang Christmas Bonus, a holiday song popularized by the Aegis. Anne and Regine’s performance last Sunday on ASAP Natin ‘To as part of Lazada’s promo.
In a video clip posted on ALTStarMagic Twitter account, it can be seen that Anne Curtis had her moment. With her birit, netizens were amazed by her performance. There were netizens who took notice of the improvement in her voice.
The It’s Showtime replied to some netizens’ comments on her showdown with Regine Velasquez. Twitter user @gemgeraldiso said in apparent jest that Anne’s low notes are Regine’s high notes already.
Anne replied to this. “Yes po! Super prepare ako for madam! Ayoko mapahiya! Hahahahaha!” the actress enthused.
Meanwhile, another video of Anne Curtis caught the attention of many netizens just recently. Regine Velasquez’s husband OPM icon Ogie Alcasid shared a video in which Anne was singing Chandelier and after that, the Tawag ng Tanghalan Hurados gave their comments.
