Customized Car Sped Away After Hitting a Lady Senior Citizen in Manila
A closed circuit television (CCTV) footage captured a customized car hitting a lady senior citizen and speeding away in Manila.
In Dapitan, Manila, a woman senior citizen was hurt after she was hit from behind by what appeared to be a racing car. After the event, the motorist simply raced off without offering the victim any assistance.
According to the report, the automobile that struck the man in front of a gas station was visible on Barangay 471’s CCTV. A red and black car that had been modified and detailed to look like it was a racing car struck the elderly man who had been standing at the side of the road.
He struck the victim when the car passed, swerved, and stopped briefly before beginning to speed up. The elderly person was captured on camera lying on the road as the automobile continued to proceed forward.
Other CCTV shots of the area show the car accelerating away and making a turn even though the traffic in front of it has a green light. The victim could stand, but she needed to be taken urgently to the hospital.
The victim urged the suspect to surrender. She declared that she didn’t want just an apology, but rather that he should go to jail for what he had done. Despite the fact that the license plate is difficult to see on CCTV, the barangay leadership believes that the car may be readily tracked down due to its distinctive style.
