Fruit Vendor Expresses Frustration After Receiving Fake Money From Customer

FAKE MONEY – A fruit vendor has expressed its frustration towards a heartless customer who paid them with a fake money.

A Facebook user named Felerie has shared photos of fake money paid by a heartless customer to a poor fruit vendor. The post quickly circulates online and elicits reactions from the netizens.

According to the vendor, the customer purchased apples worth P150 and paid P1,000. The entrepreneur gave him a P850 change. The incident happened at Barangay Dancalan in Ilog, Negros Occidental last Wednesday (December 7, 2022).

“Someone paid us a FAKE P1,000 for the apples he bought from us just this evening. Kasagad gd ya ya sang nag imprinta. Lantawa nyo gd maayo ang mga gna baton nyo kwarta. May this serve as a warning sa tanan. (Marunong talaga yung nag print. Tingnan natin parati ng mabuti ang mga natatanggap na pera, may this serve as a warning sa lahat,” the vendor’s daughter said.

The culprit reportedly crumpled the paper bill before giving it to the vendor who doubted the money’s authenticity.

“Chineck ko. Pero huli na ng lumabas ako. Nagduda rin si nanay sa texture ko. Vinerify ko, blur ang tao at ang texture niya ay bond paper talaga. Tapos hindi embossed Republika ng Pilipinas,” the lady added.

The male culprit is around 30s, according to the victim.
