Aiko Melendez shared her thoughts on celebrities who are snobbish
Actress-politician Aiko Melendez stressed that “fame is all temporary” as she talked about snobbish celebrities in her recent Facebook post.
Aiko has spent decades in the entertainment industry and with all her years as an actress, she already knows how things work in this field. Just recently, issues surface that celebrities snubbed a fellow celebrity and athletes who ignored their fans.
In a social media post, Aiko shared that as a celebrity, she would grant the request of her fans to have photos with her even though she is tired. In having this attitude toward her supporters, the actress said that she is always thinking that she does not know if this will be the first or the last encounter that she will have with those people.
This is the reason why she would show simple gestures like saying hi and allowing other people to take photos with her. “Hindi naman kawalan sa pagkatao nyo yan,” Aiko Melendez said.
The actress also stressed that there are polite ways to turn down a photo-taking request. She said that as much as possible, she declines this kind of request during “lamay.” Aiko also pointed out that there are certain situations when a celebrity can refuse to have a moment with fans like being at the emergency room.
“Ang artista, politicians, athletes, influencers etc considered as a public figure give credit also to your fans na iniidolo kayo ung simpleng time mo,” she said.
The actress also said that if celebrities want to value their private time so much, then, they should avoid being seen in public places because it is inevitable that fans will really flock to them.
“Tandaan Humility! Fame is all temporary but right attitude lasts a lifetime…GOOD AM! Be nice and kind!” Aiko Melendez reminded other celebrities. Fans of the actress commented on her post attesting to how kind she is to them.
