Sunshine Cruz is still silent about what happened between her and Macky Mathay
Actress Sunshine Cruz was asked about the current status of her love life after rumors surfaced that she and San Juan City Councilor Macky Mathay broke up.
Breakup rumors involving Sunshine and Macky started to circulate after the actress shared a cryptic post about her realizations in life. Following this, rumors surfaced that Sunshine and her ex-husband award-winning actor Cesar Montano got back together and allegedly she is pregnant.
Both Sunshine and Cesar debunked these rumors. She and Cesar’s current partner Kath Angeles are friends. In a recent press conference for her new endorsement, Sunshine was asked about her love life now. It has been four months since the rumors surfaced that she and Macky broke up but she is still silent about this.
“I’m okay, lagi naman tayong okay. Ah, ano ba… yun lang,” Sunshine Cruz said when asked how her heart is now. Then, she said that since she and Cesar broke up, it seemed that she forgot to love herself.
When asked if there is someone loving her right now, the actress answered, “My kids, my mom, my family, my friends…” Then, one reporter said that it was about a special someone in her life now.
“No, ay naku, huwag niyo nang i-push,” Sunshine said. When she was asked if she is open to getting married again, the actress once again gave an indirect answer. “Ahm, ano ba ang masasabi ko tungkol diyan?” she said.
Sunshine Cruz did not answer further questions about her love life, instead, she talked about her endorsement.
Meanwhile, in November, Macky Mathay shared a post that netizens thought was for Sunshine Cruz. “If I have to reach for the heavens for my sunshine again and again I would,” he wrote in his social media post.
