Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo talked about what they said to each other
Kapuso stars Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo revealed that they encouraged each other to do this.
Alden and Bea first work together in a shampoo commercial. From that, they were pitched to do a movie together even though they previously belonged to different networks. It was supposed to be a collaboration between Star Cinema and GMA Films.
Alden already did a project under the film company of ABS-CBN and it was the film Hello, Love, Goodbye with Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo.
When Bea transferred to GMA last year, her first project was a TV series with Alden. They were the lead stars in the Pinoy version of the South Korean series Start-Up PH. During a recent press conference for their series finale, based on the article in Balita, Alden and Bea revealed something.
Alden Richards revealed that when Bea Alonzo was still in ABS-CBN, he encouraged her to transfer to GMA so that they can work together. The Pambansang Bae has been very vocal about her desire to have a project with the former Kapamilya actress.
Alden previously admitted that he really admires the tandem of Bea with her love team partner John Lloyd Cruz. “Sinabi ko po na sana maka-work ka, sana lumipat ka (Bea). Hindi pa po siya Kapuso that time,” he said.
The Kapuso actor added, “Nagbibiruan, oo, sabi ko lipat ka na sa amin. Ganun po, naghihilahan po kaming dalawa, but ‘yun nga…”
Then, Bea said that she also encouraged Alden to transfer to ABS-CBN before. However, in the end, it was Alden who became victorious as Bea was the one who transferred.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Bea shared that she will be doing two more Kapuso series and she is set to do a movie with John Lloyd Cruz under Star Cinema.
