Actress-host Kat Alano shared emotional tweets after reports circulated that Kapamilya star Vhong Navarro was allowed to post bail.
Vhong’s bail petition was granted. He was ordered to pay P1 million for him to have his temporary freedom. The comedian-host was arrested for the rape case filed by model Deniece Cornejo.
The warrant of arrest that was issued against him had no recommended bail and so he was detained at the National Beauru of Investigation detention center, eventually, he was transferred to Taguig City Jail.
When Vhong Navarro was arrested, Kat Alano shared an intriguing post. To recall, the actress-host claimed that she was raped by a male celebrity whose name “rhymes with wrong.”
Although she did not directly mention the name of her supposed abuser, it was quick for the public to guess that she is talking about the It’s Showtime host.
On December 6, the Taguig City Regional Trial Court allowed the comedian-host to post P1 million bail. This means that he will be able to spend the holidays with his family. His camp has been very hopeful that the court will favor their bail petition.
Following the circulation of reports about the temporary freedom that was granted to Vhong Navarro, Kat Alano shared these emotional tweets. “I feel sick. This is so wrong. It’s all wrong. Bahala na kayo Pilipinas. You deserve what you asked for. Sana hindi mangyari sa inyo to. It’s a nightmare that keeps going. Evil wins,” the actress wrote.
Some netizens expressed support for her and encouraged her to continue to fight while there were those who criticized her by saying that she should have filed a case instead of riding along with the case filed by Deniece.
Some netizens who showed support for Vhong criticized Kat as well as they believe that the Kapamilya star is innocent.
In another tweet, Kat Alano wrote, “I can’t stop crying. I feel broken and defeated. Ayaw ko na talaga.”
