Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde are ready to start their own company
Seasoned actress Sylvia Sanchez revealed that her son actor-politician Arjo Atayde and his fiancée Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza want to have kids right away.
Arjo and Maine got engaged in July of this year. The actor-politician prepared an extravagant event for his proposal. When he finally popped the question, the Eat Bulaga host was teary-eyed as she said “yes.” Their families were indeed ecstatic to witness the start of the next chapter of their lives as a couple.
Based on the article in Inquirer, the seasoned actress said that she knows nothing much about the wedding preparations that Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde are doing. However, one thing that she is sure of is that the couple intends to have kids right away.
“They said they want to become parents while they’re still young so they can watch over their child better. Arjo wants his relationship with his child to be like the one he has with his own parents, parang barkada,” Sylvia Sanchez shared.
“She added that Maine also has a “barkada-like” relationship with her parents. Then, the seasoned actress shared what her future daughter-in-law said to her. She also recently told me, ‘Tita, at this time, magkakaapo ka na.’ She gave me a specific period, but I don’t want to reveal it yet. I am so excited. I’m at a point in my life when I already feel content just staying at home and taking care of my grandkids,” Sylvia enthused.
The seasoned actress also shared that when it comes to the wedding preparation, she is not intervening. She said that the couple is planning to hold the wedding next year but Arjo and Maine can still change their minds. Sylvia said that when it comes to this aspect, she does not want to pester her son because, at the age of 32, she knows that Arjo is already to handle this matter.
On the other hand, Sylvia Sanchez said that she keeps on telling Arjo Atayde and Maine Mendoza that she is already in her 50s and she wants to have grandkids already. The seasoned actress also said that she is willing to take care of her grandkids if Maine and Arjo are doing their showbiz engagements.
