Tuesday Vargas Shares Being Snubbed by “Mga batang artista”
Comedienne Tuesday Vargas airs dismay after being snubbed by newbies or what she called “mga batang artista”.
The comedienne expressed her annoyance with young artists on Facebook after they allegedly ignored her at an event. The comedian, singer, and TV host posted a series of posts about the incident on her Facebook page last night.
She said, even though it was not yet time for the young artists to perform, they were inserted into the program flow because they were in a hurry. And even though she greeted them, she was ignored.
According to the Bubble Gang star (published as is), ” Mga batang artista, kahit gaano kayo ka-sikat at pinagkakaguluhan ng mga tao, mag-hello kayo sa kapwa nyo artista pagdating sa work. Lalo na sa nakakatanda.”
“Sumingit na nga kayo sa program kasi nagagalit na ang handler nyo at bawal ata kayong pinaghihintay. Tapos ako pa ang nagbigay galang sa inyo, dinedma nyo pa ako. Tandaan, madaling maabot ang fame. Longevity is harder. Pakabait ok? Huwag ganun” she added.
TV and movie director Louie Ignacio commented here. According to the GMA-7 award-winning director, these young stars will easily lose their behavior. He even called them feeling famous despite being a newbie.
“Jusko madaling malalaos yang mga batang yan sa ugali nila. Feeling sikat agad ha nakakaloka!!!!” the director said.
The comedian answered, she even introduced herself to them and shook hands, but she was really disappointed as they rejected her. She shared that the handler ignored her and blocked as if she was going to take picture with them.
Tuesday said, “Hayyy direk. Sabi ko, ‘Hi_____! Tuesday.’ Tapos abot ng kamay ko. Hindi ako pinansin tapos si handler hinarangan ako kala magpapa-picture ako. Kaloka.”
In her next post, Tuesday said she discovered that the reason the young artists are in a hurry is because they have another event to go to. The seasoned performer stressed that they were paid for the event she was hosting.
Tuesday said, “Ayun! Kaya pala nagmamadali ang dalawa at sumingit sa program kasi um-attend pa sila ng isang event pa ng sponsor nila. Paid gig ito mga anak. Sana di nyo kinuha kung mag-a-attitude lang at magmamadali.”
“Mahalin ang trabaho. Para mas madami pa kayong proyekto. Nakita ko pa talaga sa feed ko eh. Nahuli ko tuloy,” she added.
After a few hours, Tuesday removed her post. She claimed that she had made the decision to stop posting altogether because, as she put it, attractive people don’t need to be noticed.
