Actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga allegedly has this “kaartehan” based on the revelation on veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin‘s YouTube talk show Showbiz Now Na.
Alex has shared her showbiz journey in different interviews. It was her older sister Ultimate Multimedia Star Toni Gonzaga who entered first in the entertainment industry. Eventually, Alex joined showbiz and started her acting career.
However, it was inevitable that they were compared to each other. As years went by, Alex was able to find her niche and is no longer under the shadow of her older sister.
The Tropang LOL host is one of the celebrities in the Philippines who have the biggest number of subscribers on YouTube. It is known to many showbiz fans that Alex Gonzaga would become a trending topic on social media once in a while because of her controversial statements and unexpected gestures.
In a recent episode of Cristy’s show, she and her co-host Romel Chika and Wendell Alvarez talked about the vain attitude of some showbiz personalities. The first one was Alex.
It was said that when the actress-vlogger did the series Babaeng Hampaslupa series on TV5 that aired in 2011, she was very particular when it comes to her make-up. In the said series, Alex’s role was a poor girl, a “basurera,” who eventually became rich.
Wendell said that in the said series, Alex wanted her nose to look pointy even though her role is a “basurera.” “Naka-nose line,” Cristy said. “Sabi ng director said kaniya, ‘hoy, ang role mo basurera, bakit ka pa nagpapatangos ng ilong?'” Wendell shared.
It was also revealed in the said episode of Cristy’s YouTube show that when Alex Gonzaga was doing the show Juicy, she would lie down while the makeup artist was doing her makeup. With this, it would be an extra effort on the part of the makeup artist who had to bow down in order to reach her face.
Alex is yet to make a comment on this revelation about her “kaartehan.”
