This is the message of Angelica Panganiban for rising artists.
ANGELICA PANGANIBAN – One of the best actresses in the country Angelica Panganiban leaves a message for new actors in the industry.
The first Star Magical Christmas event has just concluded. It was a thanksgiving gathering of Star Magic artists and staff. The talent management is the talent arm of the ABS-CBN network.
It was held on Sunday, November 27, at the Sheraton Manila Hotel in Pasay City with the theme “Star Magical Christmas”. It was attended by over 100 Kapamilya stars who donned their holiday-inspired outfits.
The funds raised during the event will be given to Anawim, a home for the poor and abandoned elderly people. This foundation was founded by preacher Bo Sanchez in Rodriguez, Rizal.
And among those who were able to attend despite her full-packed schedule as a first-time mother was Angelica Panganiban. She walked the white carpet with her all-white Christmas ensemble. She received a loyalty award.
She made a speech at the event and in her speech as one of the best actresses in the country, she left a reminder to the new and rising stars.
“This is so unfair,” she quipped saying that there were a lot of people who became a part of that success before she achieved it.
She expressed her gratitude to the artists she has worked with and the ABS-CBN executives who played core roles in getting that success of hers.
And to the aspiring new artists, she told them:
“Napapansin ko kasi napakaraming younger artists na nag-a-aspire na maging artista rin, na gusto ring tahakin itong kung anumang nangyayari sa amin. Alam niyo, siguro, patience. Patience, tiwala, communication. Tatag ng loob. Paulit-ulit kayong susuko. Sasabihin niyo, hindi yata ito para sa inyo. Pero magugulat na lang kayo, isang araw, binibigay nang binibigay, pinapamukha na para sa ‘yo nga yata.”
For her, one big thing behind success is kindness to everyone regardless of position. May it be the bosses or the utility, one has to show kindness. She noted that it is kindness that brought her to this pedestal in the industry apart from her sacrifices and hard work.
It is also important that the exert effort to improve their talent.
She added, “Maging mabait kayo sa lahat! Huwag kayong puchu-puchung mga artista. Huwag kayong mga charot-charot! Ayusin niyo from the beginning, at gamitin niyo ang talent ninyo.”
