Dimples Romana was asked about the Angel Locsin-Neil Arce rumored breakup
Kapamilya actress Dimples Romana said that she communicates with celebrity Angel Locsin and Neil Arce amid the rumors that they are no longer together.
Dimples is one of the closest friends of Angel in the entertainment industry. The celebrity mom even went viral when her crying photos during Angel and Neil’s civil wedding ceremony circulated online.
Apparently, this is the reason why the showbiz reporters are eager to ask Dimples about the rumors that Ange and Neil already broke up. In a recent press conference for her Metro Manila Film Festival movie My Father, Myself, based on the article in PEP, the actress was once again asked about the celebrity couple, as well as the rumors involving Neil’s ex-girlfriend Maxene Magalona.
Dimples Romana said that she has not heard of this rumor. “Hindi ko iyan narinig, nakakatawa naman iyan,” the actress said. She also said that she knows her friends and even though they are not talking, they are aware of what is happening.
“Alam niyo, di maganda yung mga ganyang klase ng mga kuwento kasi kung iyan ay walang basehan, ang tawag talaga diyan ay fake news. And do we want fake news? No,” the actress said. In Neil’s reaction to his rumored breakup with Angel, he called this “fake news.”
Although Angel is now having her social media hiatus, Dimples said that they communicate with each other. “Si Neil kausap ko lang nung nasa Japan ako, nag-uusap naman kami lagi ni Gel. The Lord knows what’s happening between them, between us, so yun ang pinakaimportante sa lahat,” the actres said.
Dimples Romana also stressed that people have no right to question how the couple lives their life. She added that if Neil and Angel are happy, then, she is happy as well.
The actress also said that she did not wonder why Angel became inactive on social media because she understands her. Dimples noted that at times people really tend to detach from the usual routine. She also stressed that Angel deserves a break.
