Jed Madela Air Dismay to Clothing Store Stealing His Outfit for Their Ads
Kapamilya singer Jed Madela airs his disappointment against an online shop for allegedly using and altering his outfit for ads.
The Kapamilya singer, recently expressed his dismay on Facebook over a clothing business using his image in sponsored internet advertisement. He said in his post that he could not recall promoting the mentioned shop.
He made it clear he didn’t even wear those hues. His face appears to have been purposefully cropped in the images he shared, and it is clear that the clothing’s colors have been altered.
“Luh! I’m pretty sure this is me but I don’t remember endorsing this site or even wearing such colors. Geez,” he wrote in his post.
He added that the image was taken for ABS-CBN’s Sunday variety show, ASAP Natin ‘To, and is his “outfit of the day.” Even the stylist for the Kapamilya singer disapproved of the image’s unauthorized use.
“Omg flattering but hell no!!!” Gian Carlo David Laxamana just reacted when Jed tagged him in such a post.
Many more of Jed’s internet followers voiced the same shock at the store’s ostensibly ethical activity. The “Stillmissv” apparel chain has not yet responded to the singer’s post. Following comments from some of the singer’s fans regarding related incidents, it appears that this is not the only store that has utilized Jed’s images.
