Carla Abellana had a photo/video shoot that she has not done before
Kapuso actress Carla Abellana bares some skin in her recent photo/video shoot exactly a year after her wedding with actor Tom Rodriguez.
One of the usual things that showbiz personalities do is to have video or photo shoots for various events and product endorsements. However, the recent shoot that Carla had a unique reason and it is to celebrate her.
“October 23, 2022 | A Day To Honor and Celebrate ME,” the actress had this title for her behind-the-scenes vlog. In the description of her video, she stated that she and her glam team wanted the shoot to be “dark, deep, messy, brave and bare.”
Commonly, Carla Abellana would have demure outfits. She rarely shows some skin when it comes to her photo shoots but this time, she wanted to be different. The date of the shoot coincides with her supposed first-year wedding anniversary with Tom Rodriguez.
To recall, the former couple broke up five months after they tied the knot and it was quite a controversial separation as issues surrounding their relationship surfaced.
“It fell on October 23, 2022. Exactly a year after the day i got married. Why? Simply because it was the only day that everyone in the entire team was available. Perhaps because of a more meaningful reason, we ask? Well, only God knows, really,” Carla wrote.
The actress said that before the day started, she prayed. She told herself that she doing this not for anybody but for herself. “I figured it was time to honor and celebrate ME,” Carla Abellana stressed.
Through this post, the actress also expressed how thankful she is for the life she has and the blessings that come along her way.
