Robi Domingo is ready to settle down
Kapamilya host Robi Domingo said that he wants to have a short engagement only and because of this, he and his fiancée Maiqui Pineda started to plan for their wedding.
During Robi’s vacation with Maiqui in Japan, together with some of his friends in the entertainment industry, he popped the question. On a street in the said country, the TV host knelt and asked the question to his girlfriend.
After the proposal, the couple received heartwarming messages of support from friends and loved ones who are looking forward to their life as a married couple. In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, the TV host expressed that he does not want to wait for a long time for the wedding to happen.
“Yes, we are. It’s gonna be a short engagement,” Robi Domingo said when asked if he and Maiqui Pineda are now planning for their wedding. He also said that he is letting his fiancée decide regarding the details. However, Robi said that the finances will be coming from him.
“As much as I want to say it’s a joint celebration, it is actually, siyempre we are gonna be celebrating our love and marriage pero right now, totoo pala yung sinasabi nilang ‘happy wife, happy life,’” he said.
Robi also shared his thoughts on finding the one. He said that in every relationship one should think that the partner is already the one but he realized that you can call your partner the one if “you are one with yourself already.”
The TV host stressed that if a person does not feel complete, he or she is not completely happy, and all the happiness and problems you have you will share with your partner. He said that this is workable but there is no sense of fulfillment.
Robi Domingo also highlighted the traits that Maiqui Pineda has that he really appreciates. He said that his soon-to-be-wife is patient and understanding and this is very vital since he is in showbiz.
