Aljur Abrenica does not want to speak with finality
Actor Aljur Abrenica said that he is open to the possibility of reconciliation between him and his estranged wife actress Kylie Padilla.
After having two sons, Aljur and Kylie broke up in 2021. It was first confirmed by Kylie’s father actor-politician Robin Padilla. Their separation went controversial as cheating allegations were thrown at them.
Currently, Aljur and Kylie have a good co-parenting relationship. In a recent interview on entertainment writer Aster Amoyo’s YouTube channel, the actor said that even though he and Kylie are no longer together, they are learning from each other as parents.
When asked if he still loves the mother of his sons, Aljur Abrenica did not directly answer this question but he said, “Hindi naman siya mawawala [sa puso ko]. Isang dekada kami magkasama, part of myself is siya na e.” The actor also said that he does not know how to put this into words but definitely this is something that will always be there.
Then, the actor was asked if he is not closing his doors for the possibility of reconciliation or if there is someone who closed this already. Aljur said, “‘Yung iba nga sinasabi nila wala na talaga pero meron pa, ‘di ba? Wala namang nakakaalam kung anong mangyayari. Hindi ko nga alam na maghihiwalay kami e. Hindi ko nga alam na magkakaanak kami, ‘di ba?”
Meanwhile, Aljur Abrenica expressed gratitude to their fans for still supporting them even after their breakup. He also appreciates even those negative words that he receives because he felt their pain also. The actor added that he and Kylie both got hurt and then people have to respect what they are going through after the breakup.
Aljur also stressed that not everyone knows everything that happened between him and Kylie.
