Ambulance is one of the most prioritized vehicles on the road as it transport patients from various locations heading to the nearest hospital or medical center for immediate medical attention.

It has flashing warning lights and sirens to indicate that a patient needs to be brought to the nearest hospital as soon as possible. This vehicle saves numerous lives, so it deserves to be given priority on the street.

The Facebook page “Philippines CCTV & DASH CAM Spotted” has shared the video footage of an ambulance driver who did not pick up a kamote rider involved in an accident. The video elicits comments online.

In the video, it can be seen that a fast-approaching kamote rider attempted to cross the road without even considering other vehicles along the road. The motorist did not notice the upcoming truck although another rider has stopped.

The truck accidentally hits the motorcycle rider who suddenly crossed the road without giving any signs. The collision sent the rider pummeling on the ground, which causes inconvenience and traffic congestion along the road.

A few seconds after the incident, an ambulance arrived but it just passed and leave the motorcycle rider. The emergency vehicle moved as if nothing happened.

According to the netizens, the ambulance might be transporting a patient and could not pick up another person in compliance with the standard operating procedure. The online community said that ambulances must abide by the policy.
