Male Employee Goes Viral Online for Sharing Photo of HR Memes About 13th Month Pay

A male employee goes viral on social media after sharing the photo of HR memes about 13th month pay posted in their office.

In the Philippines, 13th-month pay is a government-mandated form of compensation given to employees at the end of the year. While it may appear to be a Christmas bonus, 13th-month pay is not a discretionary benefit; it is required by law, so employers must pay it.

Recently, a Facebook user named Chaz Wu Blanco shared a photo of HR memes about 13th-month pay, which was posted in their office. The post immediately goes viral and earned reactions from the netizens.

In the photo, it can be seen that two memes regarding the extra payments have been posted on the wall. The meme shows employees asking for their 13th-month pay but the HR department replies “SANDALE”.

The other meme shows Jack Sparrow with pirate hair beads before receiving the bonus salary and transformed with a rebonded hair after getting the 13th-month pay. The meme reportedly came from the HR department, according to Blanco.

The male employee explained that other employers and companies are giving out early 13th-month pay. His company will release their extra pay next month.
