Award-winning actress Alessandra de Rossi said “hindi kita mahal” to actor-comedian Empoy Marquez.
Alex and Empoy’s onscreen partnership in the movie Kita Kita was a big hit. The unusual and unexpected pairing captured the hearts of many movie fans. There are a lot of supporters of their tandem who are anticipating their reunion project.
The romantic-comedy movie that featured Alex and Empoy was released in 2017 and it was a blockbuster hit. Their tandem is known as the “Alempoy.” In 2018, they also worked together in the series Since I Found You with Piolo Pascual and Arce Munoz.
In 2020, their reunion project was announced. Fans of Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez got excited when reports surfaced about their movie Walang Ka-Paris.
In a recent Instagram post that Alex shared, Alempoy fans got “kilig.” The actress wrote a funny caption to this. “May mga relasyon na transactional lang. Wala eh. Matindi ang pangangailangan,” she wrote.
Then, she added, “Pasensya ka na, hindi kita mahal @empoy.” The actor-comedian replied to this. “@msderossi Hala siya,” Empoy wrote. Alex’s mom also commented on this as well as Kapuso host Kuya Kim Atienza and It’s Showtime host Jugs Jugueta.
There were a lot of netizens who also expressed their funny reactions like Instagram user @chinjiel who said, “Sabi nila pag mag karelasyon pag tagal nagiging magkamukha…” Some netizens expressed that Alempoy is their favorite love team while some recalled their movie together.
Meanwhile, Alessandra de Rossi, in a recent interview, said that she lost her interest in studying because she really wants to pursue a career in acting. She admitted that she somehow regretted that she stopped studying, especially during the pandemic.
‘Noong nari-realize mo na totoo yata ‘yung sinasabi nilang get a real job. Kasi hindi pang-frontliner yung trabaho ko. Hindi ako frontliner. Dapat yata nagtapos ako ng pag-aaral,” she said.
