Vhong Navarro Will Be Transferred To Taguig City Jail

After surrendering, Vhong Navarro is now to be transferred to Taguig City Jail according to a report.

VHONG NAVARRO – Kapamilya actor and host Vhong Navarro will is slated to be transferred to the Taguig City Jail.

In a previous article, actor and television host Vhong Navarro voluntarily surrendered last September for r#pe charges filed by model Deniece Cornejo in connection to the incident that happened in 2014. He was accused of doing it to Cornejo through “force, threat, and intimidation” and by purposely intoxicating her.

He has surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). He is currently being detained at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Detention Center.

However, months after, under the commitment order issued by the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 69, he is now slated to transfer to Taguig City Jail. As he transfers, he will be subjected to health protocol requirements.

Prior to this, Cornejo’s camp had requested that Navarro be transferred to the jail.

Navarro’s wife, Tanya Bautista, has said it before that she fears for this day to come. She is worried about her husband’s safety in the city jail. But there is one thing she is sure about, she will not leave his side no matter what.

“Si Vhong, sobrang mahal na mahal ko. Uhm, huwag na huwag mong iisipin na iiwan kita. Lagi na siyang ganyan. Iyon yung greatest fear niya,” she shared.

Meanwhile, the incident in 2014 involved other personalities who left Navarro miserable by inflicting physical pain. He was detained by Cornejo’s group led by Cedric Lee before and some CCTV recordings showed that Navarro was detained by the group.

Lee and six others – Deniece Cornejo, Bernice Cua Lee, Simeon Palma Raz Jr., Jose Paolo Gregorio Calma, Sajed Fernandez Abuhijleh, and Ferdinand Guerrero – faced serious illegal detention charges.

They threatened Navarro and accordingly, they asked for Php 2 million for his life to be spared.
