Pia Wurtzbach Challenges Herself Once Again In An International Marathon

PIA WURTZBACH – Beauty queen Pia Wurtzbach just confirmed she will participate in the London Marathon in 2023.

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach earlier finished the 42-kilometer New York City marathon. She described it as the “best run of her life.”

The 33-year-old beauty queen decided to join the NYC marathon when she had COVID-19 in January after she had become “sick and tired of being sick and tired.” In a post on her Insta account last November. 7, Pia reflected on her experience while showing photos of herself and fans who cheered for her during the race.

Pia Wurtzbach’s soon-to-be-husband Jeremy Jauncey was in her corner throughout the race. The founder and CEO of Beautiful Destinations took videos and cheered for her.

Recently, Pia penned a heartwarming appreciation message for her fiancé. She also shared an adorable selfie she took with the Scottish businessman.

Pia Wurtzbach will begin her “next phase of training” a week after successfully finishing her first marathon in New York City in preparation for the London Marathon in April 2023. On her Instagram page Sunday, November 13, Pia shared clips of her running journey, which helped her “rediscover” life.

Wurtzbach also shared moments from her training for the NYC marathon up until race day in an effort to motivate her followers to pursue their dreams. She then expressed excitement for her upcoming marathon while admitting that there is still plenty to improve before the race.

“And as for me.. there’s so much I need to work on for my next phase of training. My form, drills, pace, strength [and] of course.. beating my previous time,” Pia said.

“[London marathon] is waiting! April 23, 2023!”
