According to the article, COMELEC will implement the “Register Anywhere Project (RAP) so it would be easier for a lot voters to register. It will run for 10 weekends starting December 17, 2022 until January 29, 2023.

The ‘Register Anywhere Project (RAP)’ will accept voter registration in five (5) shopping malls in the National Capital Region (NCR). The poll body earlier conducted an initial internal end-to-end demonstration of RAP at Robinsons Place Manila.

The voter registration in malls will be held every Saturday and Sunday. The poll body has yet to release the list of malls where the RAP will be held. Based on the report, there are no voter registrations on December 24, 25, 31, 2022 and January 1, 2023.

Any applicant from anywhere in the country who wants to register as voter can go for the registration under RAP in NCR malls. There will be separate registrations for the residents of the city or municipality where the mall is located and the non-residents who wants to apply for registration.
