John Amores and Barbie Imperial got involved in separate conflicts and netizens have this suggestion
Jose Rizal University basketball player John Amores became a trending topic on social media just recently after he punched other players from the College of St. Benilde.
With this, netizens suggested that John should have a “sapakan” film with Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial. To recall, Barbie trended online also when a CCTV footage surfaced online in which she hit Vivamax actress Debbie Garcia when they were at a bar in Quezon City.
The Kapamilya actress is now facing charges that were filed by the Vivamax actress. Barbie remained silent amid this issue.
Based on the article by Abante entertainment columnist Rb Sermino, there were a lot of netizens who suggested that John Amores and Barbie Imperial should make an action movie together.
For basketball fans, it is more likely that the JRU player would not be allowed to play anymore and so he should seek another career. “Tutal naman daw, magaling siya sa suntukan, at uso na naman ngayon ang action genre, kaya bongga nga na may bagong ‘kontrabida’ sa harap ng kamera,” Sermino said.
Netizens suggested that John and Barbie would make a good tandem. “So, dahil pareho raw palaban sina John Amores at Barbie Imperial, mas bongga raw siguro kung pagsamahin sila sa isang pelikula, ha!” the columnist added.
Netizens also suggested the story plot. They said that Barbie can play an actress in the film while John can be a basketball again. Sermino also said that definitely memes will surface because of the recent “sapakan” incident.
Meanwhile, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has indefinitely suspended John Amores from the league. Previously, the basketball player was awarded Best In Sportsmanship trophy, and for netizens, this is ironic.
