The online personality reacts to Lolit Solis, a talent manager, and showbiz journalist criticizing Kapamilya actress and TV host Kim Chiu for fangirling with the Korean girl group “Blackpink.” Lolit criticizes Kim for supporting foreign artists.
“Dapat siguro sabihan si Kim Chiu na huwag ipakita masyado iyon kilig niya sa Blackpink. Kasi parang nagyayaya pa si Kim Chiu na hangaan ng mas marami pa ang Blackpink na isang foreign group,” said Lolit in her Instagram post, Monday, November 7.
The Chinita Princess revealed that despite having a busy schedule, she managed to attend the well-known all-female group’s concert in the US. Lolit then asked the actress to inspire her followers to show more support for regional artists.
“Mas magandang ini-encourage mo ang mga fans na mas hangaan ang mga local artists natin lalo na ngayon na parang naghihingalo na ang showbiz industry,” she said.
Valentine, a well-known personality on social media, made a statement on the situation. According to his comment on the artcard published by the Balita Online Facebook page, he questioned Lolit why is he bothering his Idol.
“Luh, ba’t mo pinapakelaman yung Idol ko, hayaan mo siya mag-enjoy at panoorin yung gusto niyang artists wag mo siya mandohan! Paladesisyon yarn?” he said.
Lolit has not yet made a comment, reaction, or response to this. The Kapamilya actress posted on Instagram on Friday that seeing BLACKPINK was literally the finest night, concert, girls’ trip, and side trip she had ever experienced.
