Isabelle Daza shares a wonderful friendship with Alex Gonzaga
Actress-host Isabelle Daza shared how her friendship with actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga started.
Isabelle and Alex have collaborated in vlogs before. Not all people may know but they are friends. It is known to many that Isabelle is one of the “It Girls” while Alex is more on the “masa” side.
With this, it is inevitable for some people to wonder how the friendship between them bloomed. In a recent Toni Talks episode of Toni Gonzaga, she asked Isabelle Daza how she got close to her sister Alex Gonzaga.
Isabelle shared that as she remembered, they were introduced by celebrity stylist Liz Uy, who is also one of the “It Girls.” The daughter of showbiz veteran Gloria Diaz said that she and Alex met at the Star Magic Ball.
At that time, both of them felt like they were “out of place.” Back then, Alex has no date because she came from a breakup and she was so sad. “Sabi ko, ‘I’m so good at match-making,” Belle said flexing her prowess in matching people.
Then, she made Alex meet her foreigner friend. The actress-vlogger went on three dates with the said guy. Belle was laughing when she was sharing what Alex told her about the guy.
“Hindi sila magkaintindihan ng guy. Sobrang think ng accent ng guy. Sabi niya, ‘hindi ko na talaga kaya ‘to,” Isabelle said. Toni shared that Alex would tell her that Isabelle is like the “sosyal” version of herself.
The Ultimate Multimedia Star added that her sister would say that she and Isabelle Daza would have similar jokes but the latter is just the English version.
When asked what she is looking for in a friend, Isabelle answered, “loyalty” because her loyalty to someone who she considers a friend is unwavering. “And honesty, probably,” she added.
