PAGASA Says LPA to Bring Rains Over Parts of PH (November 4, 2022)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that a low-pressure area formerly called “Queenie” would bring cloudy to rainy conditions over some parts of the country.

On Friday (November 4, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. A low-pressure area will continue to affect the country’s weather conditions.

PAGASA reported that a Low-Pressure Area formerly “Queenie” has been last spotted 140 kilometers southeast of Davao City. It would bring cloudy weather with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Caraga and Davao Regions.

Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate at times heavy rains are expected in these areas due to the LPA.

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro.

The weather agency has also warned the residents in the affected area to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The coastal water conditions over Extreme Northern Luzon will be moderate to rough. The remaining parts of the country will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
