Typhoon Paeng Death Toll: NDRRMC Reveals Total Deaths due to Storm

TYPHOON PAENG DEATH TOLL – The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said that the death toll due to the tropical storm increased.

Typhoon Paeng affected several areas in the Philippines. Many cities and municipalities were left in floodwater after it brought heavy rains and strong winds. Deaths and damages due to the said severe tropical storm were recorded. Recently, the NDRRMC gave an update on the recorded deaths due to the calamity. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, as of Wednesday night, the death toll has reached 122 while 36 individuals remain missing. Out of the total 122 deaths as of this writing, 92 of it were confirmed while 30 remain for validation. Based on the report, 61 of the deaths were in BARMM, 29 in Western Visayas, 12 in Calabarzon, and others were recorded in Regions 3, 4-B, 5, 7, 8, 9, 12, and the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).

PAENG PH – Severe Tropical Storm Paeng has caused flooding and landslides over various parts of the country.

On Saturday (October 29, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration has released the latest weather update in the country, Severe Tropical Storm Paeng affects the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that Paeng has been last spotted over the coastal waters of San Juan, Batangas with maximum sustained winds of 95 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 130 kph. It was moving 15 kph at a West northwestward direction.
