Former Miss Grand Queens Mariana Varela & Fabiola Valentin Are Now Married
MISS GRAND 2020 – Miss Grand International Puerto Rico 2020 Fabiola Valentín and Miss Grand International Argentina 2020 Mariana Varela recently announced their marriage
Love wins for two of the Top 10 of Miss Grand International 2020, Fabiola Valentin of Puerto Rico and Mariana Varela of Argentina. The two surprised the pageant world with their announcement that they got married in Puerto Rico on October 28, 2022.
According to the caption of Fabiola’s Instagram post on October 30, after a year of keeping their relationship a secret, they opened it up to people close to them through a surprise occasion.
Fabiola Valentin’s full caption (translated in English): “After deciding to keep our relationship private, we opened the doors to them on a special day. 10/28/22 [heart, ring, sparkle emojis]”
In the 40-second Instagram Reel, you can see their vacations together, beach outings, engagement, marriage proposal, and wedding. The two tied the knot in a court as can be seen in the short clip that they are in front of the Centro Judicial de San Juan (Judicial Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico).

In August 2022, the two shared a photo with the caption, “A summer with you.”
The Miss Grand International Organization is happy with what happened to them. Their greeting via Instagram: “Congratulations to both of you. MGIO always support “LOVE” without boundaries [heart emoji]”
The Miss Grand International 2020 pageant was held in Bangkok, Thailand, in March 2021. USA’s Abena Appiah took home the crown.
Faviola and Mariana entered the Top 10 along with candidates from the Czech Republic, USA, Thailand, Guatemala, Brazil, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the representative of the Philippines, Samantha Bernardo.
