Viva Artists Agency supports Debbie Garcia as she filed charges against Barbie Imperial. Here’s a statement.
BARBIE IMPERIAL – After a bar altercation, Debbie Garcia files three charges against Barbie Imperial, and here’s a statement from Viva.
Currently trending online is the viral video of Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial attacking Viva contract star Debbie Garcia in a bar. The video of the apparent bar altercation went viral online and after the incident, went straight to the police station.
The incident happened at a bar in Quezon City and Garcia obtained slight physical injuries like scratches on her neck. Particularly, it happened at Tipsy Pig Gastropub in Quezon City last October 28, according to the reports.
This unfortunate encounter prompted Garcia to file grave oral defamation, grave slander by deed, and slight physical injury versus Imperial. She filed these complaints at the Department of Justice in Quezon City.
Viva Artists Agency (VAA) issued a statement about this. In the statement, they expressed support for their contract star as she “has been at the receiving end of physical and verbal attacks in the said incident”.
Debbie filed the complaints with the assistance of her counsel on November 2. The statement then added a plea for the public to refrain from sharing the videos of the CCTV footage of the altercation.
“VAA however kindly asks the public to refrain from further circulating copies of the video recording of the said incident on social media and allow the matter to be resolved legally”, it said.
Imperial, on the other hand, did not release any comments yet about the encounter with Garcia and about the cases that were filed against her.
