Typhoon Paeng Death Toll: NDRRMC Reveals Update on Deaths and Damages due to Storm

TYPHOON PAENG DEATH TOLL – The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) issued an update on deaths and damages.

Several cities and provinces were submerged in flood due to the heavy rains and strong winds caused by Typhoon Paeng. The latest weather update showed that the tropical storm is exiting the Philippines now. With regards to Typhoon Paeng death toll, based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the NDRRMC that 80 people have been reported dead due to the storm as of Sunday’s count. Of the said number of deaths, 38 were confirmed and 42 are still under validation. Based on the report, P69.3 million worth of agricultural damage is expected due to #PaengPhH. Not less than 868 farmers and 250 hectares of crops were affected by the storm. More updates may be posted soon.

PAENG PH – Severe Tropical Storm Paeng has caused flooding and landslides over various parts of the country.

On Saturday (October 29, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration has released the latest weather update in the country, Severe Tropical Storm Paeng affects the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that Paeng has been last spotted over the coastal waters of San Juan, Batangas with maximum sustained winds of 95 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 130 kph. It was moving 15 kph at a West northwestward direction.
